Naturnest Vulkaneifel
The vision
A place for peace, nature and privacy.
I used to rent places like this often - hiking with friends, a nice weekend for two, or a retreat on my own. Having my own small place in nature was always my dream.
Naturnest Vulkaneifel stands alone in the Laacher See volcanic region, between forest and meadows, with about 50 m² of living space and a generous plot. Everything a good retreat needs - simply peace, nature, and privacy.

Changed with respect
Veranda, greenhouse, garden - every change made thoughtfully to preserve the character. In planning: a hillside pavilion with a barbecue fireplace, a small sauna with a forest view, and a hot tub.
Garden
Fences and the outbuilding were removed, the plot was leveled and extended, and direct access to the veranda was created
Greenhouse
The derelict glasshouse became a light-filled retreat with herbs and warmth.
